“ Mis padres conocieron este lugar hace unos 47 años cuando llegaron a la isla, Al que acudían cuando podían. Durante años acudíamos muchos fines de semana . Después de algunos años he vuelto y es como volver a mi infancia , a esos recuerdos, no me ha defraudado con el paso del tiempo. Sigue siendo espectacular su carne , la atención es bastante buena y amable . No puedes perderte entre otras muchas cosas sus chicharrones con gofio, típico canario , su sopa de pollo es un clásico , sus papas fritas increíbles . Las raciones son bastante generosas. Esta este restaurante y al lado tienen otro gran salon para celebraciones . Si no lo conoces y quieres probar platos canarios a un precio razonable , este es tu rincón . ”
“ Una grata sorpresa, exquisita la comida, carne de buena calidad, raciones generosas, muy abundantes. Buena carta, muy amplia, postres caseros muy sabrosos. El servicio es lo mejor, dinámicos, alegres, serviciales, muy amables y profesionales. Tienen un maestro asador que corta la carne de maravilla. Muy recomendable. Tienen servicio de comida para llevar. Recomiendo, si pides un chuletón, no pidas mucho para picar, te llevarás y no podrás con la carne, se prudente. ”
“ Conozco este lugar desde que tengo uso de razón, han mantenido su nivel, cosa difícil. La carne es buena, el vino también, el personal es excelente, muy trabajadores. Para mi son casi familia. Lo recomiendo mucho. ”
“ I've known the place since the 70s, it epitomizes the traditional canarian roasted meat restaurant found in the north of Tenerife. the meats are very fresh and cooked to perfection, so are the compliments like fresh fried potatoes or boiled with salt "papas arrugadas" and very fresh salad. The desserts are delicious and home made, and getting to the restaurant is nice too, as you have to drive thru beautiful greenery and lovely mountains El Bosque is not a sophisticated place, it's just the perfect place to get fine roasted meats & chicken, with delicious compliments like garbanzas (traditional chickpeas with meat) or chistorras (a local very tasty sausage), fresh salad, and home made like desserts accompanied with local wine; served quickly by friendly staff. The views whilst eating are not what you came here for unless you are seated on the balcony which cannot seat too many people but you can see the trees and sky. We had fresh salad for two, 2 chistorras, 1 zero coke, 2 cañas (beers), 2 large pieces of hot bread, 2 servings of delicious mojo, 2 very large servings of awesome roasted secreto ibérico pork meat, (we eve took home half a serving home). No dessert because it just would not fit in our bellies: everything for 59€ a very good price considering everything was cooked to perfection and the secreto ibérico is considered a delicacy. Very recommended ”
